If you prefer to not update your device, you can find background audio in the full version of White Noise. Samsung users: The Background Restriction setting is located on the Battery screen labeled as “Allow Background Activity.” If the switch is off, toggle it to ON to remove the Background Restrictions. If the setting says “Restricted,” please remove the restriction.
